Damavand Mt. is the highest mountain in IRAN . It's altitud os 5671 m, It is located in the north of Tehran and south of caspian sea . In the fields around it there are a lot of beautiful red poppy flowers.

Excellent shot, great perspective! Did you try having the flower in focus and the mountain blurred, to see what it looked like?

Helma, beautiful shot! I can certainly see why this would be a favorite spot to visit. It's a great subject for photographs and you've captured its beauty so very well. I love red poppies.

All of the verticals of this one very red poppy and her friends are pointing toward that majestic mountain's top. And yet there is a cloud covering up there, obscuring the very top from view. I think this adds mystery to majesty and creates an amazing photo image. This is great.

That is one mountain I would love to visit one day. I have heard that it might be one of the last places to find the Caspian Tiger.
