just wonderful here Helma -- that sky is gorgeous and i love those soft ephemeral telephone lines sweeping through the sky as if they were graceful eyelashes! :)

I totally echo what dj.tigersprout said. The picture is beautiful and this is the first time that I felt that the telephone lines have added to the picture, but they certainly have this time. Just lovely

Apart from the superb composition and colours I like the contrast between the built environment of Tehran and the bare and empty hillsides.

Many cities, and this one too like it seems, lie in a valley or "bowl" making them vulnerable for air pollution, your picture is a beautiful illustration of this danger and warns us to be cautious with energy consumption. Thanks for sharing!
